Two Wallingford parish councillor posts are up for election on February 22.

The candidates are Nigel Everett, Len Pannett, and Christine Sandall.

Their names will be listed alphabetically and physically displayed at the Town Information Centre, Town Council Office window and KP Stationers starting from February 5.

A leaflet introducing the candidates will also be distributed to Wallingford residents.

In addition, a public gathering is scheduled for February 10, from 10am to 12pm at St Mary’s Church, where locals can meet the candidates.

A public meeting for candidates to discuss their views and answer queries, will follow on February 17, at the same time, at Wallingford Town Centre.

Voters are reminded to present an accepted photo ID when they vote, which they can check on the electoral commission's website.

Those without can apply for a free voter authority certificate from the Government's website.
