A BANBURY man has been ordered to pay almost £500 after failing to pay for a £13.60 train ticket.
Olatomide Otatile, of Marshall Road in the town, travelled between Leicester and Derby on September 9 last year without a ticket.
The 28-year-old was charged under the Transport Act 2000 after failing to buy the £13.60 ticket.

At Barkingside Magistrates Court on January 22, Otatile was found guilty and fined £220 for the offence.
He was also ordered to pay back the price of the ticket, £145 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £88.
The total amount he will have to pay is £466.60 which will need to be paid fully by the middle of February.
