A pub which was flooded nearly three weeks ago will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
The Boat House on the banks of the Thames in Wallingford announced a temporary closure on January 6 as a result of flooding from Storm Henk.
The river which flows through the town rose up to the front steps and inside the pub.
The flooring throughout was damaged and had to be replaced.
It was due to reopen last week, but owner Greene King has now said that will not be possible.
A spokesperson for the Boat House said: “We have surveyed the damage to the pub following the flood and will remain closed until further notice.
“We’ll keep our customers updated once we have more information and would like to thank everyone who has sent through messages of support.”
Announcing the closure on Facebook on January 6, The Boat House also said the venue is scheduled for a refurbishment, which will be "happening before April".
