The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates Court:

DANIEL ST CYR, 52, of HMP Bullingdon, pleaded guilty to leaving five telephone voicemails conveying a threat on January 6 this year in Oxford as well as assaulting a police constable on the same day in Abingdon. He was jailed for one month. There was a victim surcharge of £154.
DAVID WOODFORD, 58, of Westhorpe Mews, Byfield, Daventry, was found guilty to one count of assault by beating in Banbury on December 2 last year. He was fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £500 in compensation. There were court costs of £775 and a victim surcharge of £600.
IDRISSA DIOP BA, 24, of Rosemary Drive, Banbury, pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Banbury on May 8 last year. He was given a community order to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and to pay £100 in compensation. There was a victim surcharge of £114.
HUGO LEE, 18, of Cartmel, Bicester, pleaded guilty to driving without third-party insurance in Bicester on July 17 last year as well as driving without a licence. He was fined £120 and six penalty points were added to his driving record. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.
HENRY BAILLIE-HAMILTON, 68, of Hebbecastle Down, Warfield, Bracknell, was found guilty of causing harassment, alarm of distress by using threatening, abusive, or insulting words on February 17, 2022, and the offence was racially aggravated. He was given a community order to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and he was ordered to pay £100 in compensation. There were court costs of £500 and a victim surcharge of £114.
NATHAN STEAR, 19, of Pioneer Way, Arncott, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance on June 13 last year in Bicester as well as driving without a licence. He also pleaded guilty to drug driving on the same day. He was given a conditional discharge of 18 months. There were no other orders for costs.
DYLAN GADSON, 19, of Memorial Avenue, Shiplake Cross, Henley, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on the A4155 on July 11 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £150. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
JOSEPH SANTOS, 36, of Rochford Garden, Bicester, pleaded guilty to six counts of theft between August 15 and November 18 last year. One count included six Fairy washing up liquids, two Lurpak butters and multiple tins of food to an unknown value from B&M in Bicester and another was six Lenor beads and four Fairy gels to the value of £69.94 from the same store. He was given a community order to complete 12 months of drug treatment and 16 days of rehabilitation activity. There were no other orders for costs.
