An elderly pedestrian who was hit by a van has suffered spinal injuries.
The woman, 72, also received leg injuries in the collision with a white Vauxhall Combo van in Faringdon,
She has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she remains at this time.
The crash happened at the Highworth Road junction with Coxwell Road at just before 4.50pm on Friday (January 19).

No arrests have been made but Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses.
Investigating officer PC Emily Aldridge said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of the collision to contact us.”
Witnesses can submit digital evidence via the force’s dedicated portal for the investigation.
