Pupils played a great part in making sure their school fete at Freeland, near Witney, was a success.
They manned many of the stalls, provided much of the entertainment and took part in competitions to help raise £350 for school funds in 1983.
The five little pedlar girls above attracted plenty of attention – left to right, Jessica Kalicki, Sadie Fletcher, Rosalind Root, Kirsty Maddison and Joanne Treadwell.

The fete was a family fun day with mums and dads as well as their children playing in a five-a-side football tournament.
There was also a judo display by pupils and a pet show organised by one of them, Jan Webster. The village of Freeland is about five miles away from Witney.
