A second person died in a car crash on Christmas morning, police said today.
The crash on the A338 has already claimed the life of 61-year-old Jean Houston.
Police said Thomas Pritchard, aged 31, died in the John Radcliffe Hospital on Wednesday (January 17).
He was injured in the collision involving a red Mini Cooper and a white Peugeot 208 which happened between East Hanney and Frilford at around 11.15am on Christmas Day last year.
Mr Pritchard was driving the Peugeot. Mrs Houston, from East Hanney, who was driving the Mini, sadly died at the scene.

Mr Pritchard, who attended Botley Primary School and Abingdon School before studying at Leeds University, died a week before his 32nd birthday.
‘Tommy's' parents Paul and Sarah paid tribute to their only son.
They said: “Thomas ‘Tommy’ Pritchard was involved in a road traffic collision on Christmas Day 2023 and died in the John Radcliffe Hospital on Wednesday 17 January, a week before his 32nd birthday.

“Tommy attended Botley Primary School and Abingdon School before attending the University of Leeds.
“He was a keen sportsman and enjoyed rugby and cricket, both at university and locally in Oxford, he was also a keen golfer.
“Most recently Tommy became the landlord and head chef at The Fox Inn in Boars Hill.
“Tommy was the only son of Paul and Sarah Pritchard.”
