The former headquarters of an Oxfordshire newspaper are available to let.

Guardian House in the centre of Banbury was formerly occupied by the Banbury Guardian.

The tabloid newspaper, which was founded in 1838, serves north Oxfordshire, southwest Northamptonshire and southeast Warwickshire.

The paper moved in 2015 and its journalists now work from the headquarters of its Johnston Press sister title in Leamington Spa.

Property consultants White Commercial said: "Guardian House is an iconic building located next to The Old Town.

"Providing modern business facilities in a beautiful period building, the building has gone through extensive refurbishment but retained its character and history."

There is limited parking on site but plenty of short- and long-term options directly in front of the building.

The facility is run by office service providers the Point of Difference Team  who have a range of sites within the region.

White Commercial is looking for rent of £2,500 per month.
