New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Oxford’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
A food safety officer from the local authority inspects a business to check that it follows food hygiene law so that the food is safe to eat.
They give businesses a rating from 5 to 0 which is displayed at their premises and online so you can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
All these Oxford venues have received a 5 rating which means hygiene standards are very good.
Flo's Cafe at Florence Park Childrens Centre on Rymers Lane in Oxford was rated 5 on January 11.

Heat Africa at 183 Cowley Road, and Tribe at 21 Cowley Road, were both given the maximum score after inspections on January 10.
And Starbucks at Golden Cross Court, 4 Cornmarket Street in Oxford was rated on January 9.
Five pubs also got top marks.
Cowley Retreat at 172 Cowley Road, was inspected on January 10 and given a 5 rating.
It was also good news for The Black Boy at The Black Boy Public House, 91 Old High Street, Oxford, The Britannia Inn at 1 Lime Walk, Oxford, , The Kings Arms at Kings Arms Hotel 40 Holywell Street, and The Oxford Union at Frewin Court, Oxford, after inspections on January 9.
Meanwhile Caprinos Pizza at 6 The Roundway, Oxford was rated 5 on November 29.
