An Oxfordshire town road may be getting a new three-metre-wide cycleway as well as five parallel crossings.
Oxfordshire County Council intends the track to run across the 1.6km length of Middleton Stoney Road in Bicester.

The development would fall within the Fringford and Heyfords Ward.
Opinions are currently being sought for the proposal with a target decision date of January 29 for the application.
The application was validated on the Cherwell District Council website last week ahead of being considered by councillors.
In its application, the council said the crossings and cycle track would be accompanied by "associated landscaping, planting, crossings and traffic calming".
An area of 4,800sqm is covered by the proposals but this could increase as a result of proposed landscaping and tree planting.
A further screening request would be required in the event of the site exceeding one hectare in size.
Oxfordshire County Council has been approached for further information.
