JAIL time has been handed to a man who was found guilty of abusing his former partner.
Oltian Bica has been jailed for 45 months after his hearing on January 11 for 10 charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm which occurred over a year-long period.
The 32-year-old was found guilty after a trial heard at Oxford Crown Court before Christmas by a 12-strong jury.

During the proceedings, they heard that Bica, of Westminster Way, Banbury, had been abusing his ex ‘physically, mentally, and emotionally’.
He held a knife to her stomach, spat at her, called her names, checked her phone and forced her to buy him expensive items, the court heard.
Prosecutor Lisa Wilding KC described Bica’s conduct as "emotional and psychological bullying".
