More than £1 million is set to be donated to various charities across the UK and Ireland, with Oxfordshire residents being encouraged to make a nomination.
Entering its sixth year, residents in Oxfordshire can nominate the charity of their choice for the Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards to give them a chance of receiving a £1,000 donation.
To nominate a charity, visit the Movement for Good website.
Charities will be selected through random draws, with the frequency of nominations increasing their chance of being selected.
Moreover, special draws will occur where designated charities in certain sectors may be awarded a £5,000 grant.
These special events will happen throughout the year and can be tracked at the Movement for God website.
Since its charter in 2019, the Movement for Good Awards has allocated £5 million to charities in the UK and Ireland.
Previous recipients from Oxfordshire include The Chipping Norton Theatre Limited, South Central Ambulance Charity, and Children Heard and Seen, all funded through public nominations.
Mark Hews, group chief executive of Benefact Group, said: "Benefact Group is a family of award-winning specialist financial services companies and the third largest corporate donor to charity in the UK.
"We are delighted to be able to donate over £1million to good causes each year through our Movement for Good Awards.
"Our Movement for Good Awards help charities change lives for the better and we know that for many charities, £1,000 can make a real difference."
