A serving Thames Valley Police officer has been suspended after being charged with battery and threatening violence.
Thames Valley Police officer, PC Lewis Cave, aged 29, was charged with three counts of battery and one count of threatening violence to secure entry on Friday (January 5).
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court in Speedwell Street on Thursday, February 1.
The alleged offences took place in Reading on August 18 last year, while the police officer was off-duty.
Cave who is based at Reading police station, is suspended from duty, following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
