The Met Office has warned of icy conditions and wintry showers across Oxfordshire.
A yellow weather warning is in place for large parts of the county, with lowering temperatures expected to bring challenging conditions to the roads and railways.
It comes into force at 3pm today (January 8) and it is expected ice and snow in the area could lead to dangerous slippery surfaces, the forecaster has said.

The ice warning says there will be “some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths”.
It also warns of injuries from slips and falls on ice or snowy surfaces.
The forecaster said: "Parts of southern Britain are likely to see some snow showers during Monday afternoon and the first part of the night.
"Most places will see little or no lying snow, but 1-2 cm may settle in one or two places, mostly over high ground.
"In addition, some icy surfaces are possible for a time.
"However, the chance of this reduces by dawn on Tuesday as snow showers clear to the west and surfaces dry out.”
This comes after water levels in the county have dramatically risen leading to extreme flooding in the past week following Storm Henk.
Today, there are still 32 flood alerts issued across the county and 25 flood warnings on rivers in running through the area.
Of these warnings, 19 are along the River Thames, in locations including Botley, Binsey, Osney, North, South and New Hinksey, Wolvercote, Sanford and Abingdon.
