Tesco's customer services team has confirmed to customers this morning that the Abingdon Tesco Extra store is closed today due to ongoing flooding which is affecting the premises.
The customer services team has also informed customers that deliveries and click and collect services have also been cancelled.
Tesco confirmed to the Oxford Mail and Herald Series: "The store will be closed today due to localised flooding and we apologise for the inconvenience."
A spokesperson also confirmed that they would provide more details and information when they have it.
The Tesco team has also stated that customers expecting deliveries should have been made aware as 780 orders have been cancelled.

It is CLOSED! Because it’s basically a lake and a river, not a car park… #floods pic.twitter.com/cnHKRGSenc
The store was affected by flooding yesterday afternoon, when the car park slowly began filling with flood water.
Glad I didn't go Abingdon Tesco earlier today, apparently this was taken at 2.30 today and it was getting worse pic.twitter.com/nlCKuscGlQ
