There are 27 flood warnings in place for Oxfordshire.
The Environment Agency expects flooding on the River Cherwell, the River Thames, River Ray, River Stert and at Chalgrove Brook.
More than 300 flood warnings, where flooding is expected, are in place across England on Friday morning with 330 flood alerts.
The impact of surface water and river flooding will continue to be “significant” across parts of England following heavy rainfall, experts have warned.
Showers will continue into Friday morning, according to forecasters, and are likely to affect parts of south-west and eastern England, Wales and areas in Scotland.
Today the Met Office is forecasting a mainly dry day in Oxfordshire with variable cloud and bright spells, but a few isolated showers may develop through the afternoon and evening.
It will stay mostly cloudy tonight, with some light spells of rain or drizzle at times.
There is a chance of some brighter spells developing from the west tomorrow afternoon.
