A JUDGE has agreed to delay the sentencing of a man who breached a Sexual Harm Prevention Order so police can analyse his devices.

David Robins, 25, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (January 4) for five counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

However, Judge Ian Pringle agreed to adjourn the matter so police could analyse the devices in case further charges need to be added.

The SHPO was put in place by Swansea Crown Court on November 2 last year.

Some of the breaches occurred on the same day the order was put in place while others took place the following month, the court heard.

Robins, of The Medway, East Hanney, indicated he was guilty of concealing internet devices, using 'incognito mode', having social media accounts, accessing the internet, and deleting internet history.

Speaking at Oxford Crown Court, prosecution Jonathan Sank explained it was going to take police four to six weeks to analyse the devices and a further couple of weeks to decide if the Crown Prosecution Service would bring more charges against Robins depending if anything is found.

Judge Pringle adjourned the matter until March 20 at the same court.

A warrant back for bail was issued as Robins failed to attend the hearing on Thursday.
