THE sentencing of a man who sent threatening messages on Snapchat and Facebook has been delayed.
Elliott Howells, 22, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (January 4) for 15 counts of sending threatening messages, causing stress and anxiety
However, a barrister was not available to prosecute the case.
Due to the complexity of the case, it was not plausible to have a barrister stand in at the last minute, the court heard.

Judge Ian Pringle said: "It would take an hour or two to get a hold of these matters. I think, on reflection, it's better that this goes off."
Howells, of Trefoil Place, Oxford, is now due to be sentenced at the same court on Friday, January 12 instead.
