An Oxfordshire fitness instructor has been named Community Instructor of the Year 2023 by a dance fitness brand.
The accolade was presented to Debs Davies in December by Fitsteps at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom by Strictly Come Dancing stars Pasha Kovalev and Ian Waite.
Ms Davies's exuberance echoed in the ballroom as 20 of her class members celebrated her victory with applause.
The recognition marks Ms Davies' decade-long journey of teaching Fitsteps in Oxfordshire.
Her new year classes will start on January 15.
She said: "It is suitable for all fitness levels and you do not need to be able to dance, it is all about having fun, moving your body, and enjoying the music."
Hosting 10-12 sessions weekly in Oxfordshire village halls, including in Cumnor and Lechlade, Ms Davies brings fitness and fun together in her classes.
Often, she organises danceathons for local charities like The Mulberry Bush, with the forthcoming one being for Maggie's Oxford in March.
Her classes are loaded with lively party tunes and easy dance moves.

Dance fitness brand Fitsteps was created by former Strictly professionals Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe alongside former Olympic swimmer Mark Foster.
