Trains on a Bicester train line will run at a reduced speed due to a fallen tree blocking the railway causing major delays.
Heavy winds have hit Oxfordshire as Storm Henk batters large parts of the UK, with flood alerts being issued for the county today (January 3).
The Met Office issued an amber warning for high winds yesterday (January 2) with trees falling across the county including on the railway line between Bicester North and Banbury.

Due to a tree blocking the line towards the West Midlands between Bicester and Banbury train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes.

This has caused trains to run at a reduced speed causing delays on the line towards the West Midlands.
A Chiltern Railways statement said: "Due to a tree blocking the line towards the West Midlands between Bicester and Banbury train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes.
"This is whilst work is carried out to remove the blockage. Apologies for any inconvenience caused."
