THOMAS GATES, 39, of Lime Tree Close, Carterton, pleaded guilty to harassment without violence between January 1 and September 2 last year but turning up at an address in Abingdon several times, sending unwanted messages and stealing items. He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer on September 23. He was given a community order to complete 27 days of rehabilitation activity and was fined £700. He was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation, court costs of £625 and a victim surcharge of £114.

CHANTELLE PHILIPS, 32, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the theft of £32.50 worth of laundry products from the Co-Op in Barberry Place, Bicester on October 11 last year, the theft of £30 of shampoo from Poundland in Bicester on August 15 last year, the theft of £50 of toiletries from the same store on August 8. She was given a 14-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. She must also complete 12 months of treatment and pay back the amount of all the items stolen in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

JAMES PEARMAN, 35, of Fuller Close, Shrivenham, pleaded guilty to the possession of a sword in Chieveley Service Station on November 17 last year. He was given a community order to complete six months of mental health treatment, 20 days of rehabilitation activity and was fined £730. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

GABRIEL SCRIPCARU, 37, of Joan Street, Newcastle, pleaded guilty to stealing two woollen hats to the value of £38 from Watsons of Oxford on November 24 last year in Broad Street as well as handling stolen goods on the same day, specifically two pairs of socks to the value of £11.98 from Oxfam charity. He was fined £180. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £72.

STUART JEEVES, 44, of Lowell Place, Witney, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Yarton on June 15 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £1,015. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £406.

DANIEL PROBERT, 30, of Jackdaw Road, Didcot, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Didcot on December 1 last year with 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified for 40 months and fined £1,192. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £477.

SAMUEL BECKETT, 21, of Springfield Close, Watlington, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, on September 23 last year and one count of possession of a Class A drug – namely cocaine – on the same day. He was sentenced to imprisonment but due to unrelated matters and no separate penalty was issued.
