A towpath on the River Thames in Oxford has been closed due to flooding in the city centre.
The city council has warned people not to cross the towpath between Fiddler's Island and Sidelings which has been submerged underwater.
Fiddler's Island is a thin island south of Port Meadow on the reach above Osney Lock.

The north part of the island sits between the River Thames and the top end of Castle Mill Stream, a Thames backwater.
A city council statement said: "The towpath between Fiddler's Island and Sidelings is closed today, January 2, due to flooding.
"Please do not attempt to enter floodwater. We will provide updates on the reopening of the path."
