Banbury United Football Club is investigating crowd trouble during their derby match against Brackley Town on New Year's Day which could lead to stadium bans.
The club announced that a small group of spectators breached security fencing and engaged in violent behaviour.
A club statement said: "The club would like to make it absolutely clear that we abhor violence in all its forms, whether home or away, and will be taking strong action."
The club plans to conduct a "thorough investigation" and pursue stadium bans for all involved.
Banbury United also appealed to fans who witnessed the incident to support the cub in identifying any individuals involved.

Brackley Town won the National League North match 3-1.
