Lidl wants to increase the size of its future supermarket in Oxfordshire.
The discount supermarket giant has submitted plans to expand the floor space of the soon-to-be-built store near Wantage by an extra four square metres.
The changes would create wider aisles and more checkouts – both manned and self-served - at the proposed site next to Elm Farm Business Park.

Lidl submitted the plans to Vale of White Horse District Council, the planning authority, at the start of December.
It comes after the company and GSC Estates received planning permission to build the supermarket off Grove Road in February 2022.
Construction was initially expected to start in January 2023 with an opening date of early 2024.
But the process has been delayed while Lidl works through planning conditions with the council.
