A horse trailer which was stolen from the Wantage area three years ago has been stopped by police across the county border.
But officers are unsure as to who has been in possession of the trailer since it went missing.
Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce team stopped a 4x4 towing the Ifor Williams trailer near Iver in Buckinghamshire this afternoon (Friday, December 29).

An unmarked police car was used as part of this operation.
A police spokesman said checks identified the trailer had been stolen from the Wantage area in 2020.
He added: "Enquiries are being completed to ascertain who has had the trailer since its theft."
A subsequent statement said the police team found a Ford Transit van abandoned in Mansion Lane in Iver.
Police believe the van was stolen from Slough in the early hours of Friday morning.
The vehicle is being recovered by police for a forensic examination.
The Rural Crime Taskforce team has also been patrolling beauty spot car parks in west Oxfordshire today following a spate of thefts.
A spokesman for the force said: "Please remove valuables from your car or make sure they can't be seen."
Those who have seen anything suspicious or who have been a victim of theft should report it to police via 101 or 999 if the theft is in progress.
