New data published on Oxfordshire primary school SAT results has revealed the top performing schools in the county.
The primary school performance data is the first released by the Government since the Covid outbreak.
The figures show how well schools performed in the SATs exams this summer and also reflect progress made while children are at primary school.
The exams are taken by final year primary school pupils.
The top performing school was Chadlington Church of England Primary School, an Ofsted graded good school, where 100 per cent reached the required standard in the 3Rs, with 22 per cent reaching the higher level.
Number two was Buckland Church of England Primary School in Buckland, where 93 per cent met the standard expected in reading, writing and maths.
In third was Shiplake Church of England School where 92 per cent reached the required standard in the 3Rs, with 22 per cent reaching the higher level.
Also in the top five were Sunningwell Church of England Primary School and Hailey Church of England Primary School.
Department for Education chiefs warned that school performance data for the 2022/23 academic year should be used with caution given the ongoing impacts of the Covid pandemic, which affected individual schools and pupils differently.
School performance data should be considered alongside a range of other information about the school, which could include looking at school websites, reading Ofsted reports, and speaking to the school directly.
