A suspected hit and run crash has left a man in hospital with serious injuries after a motorist lost control of his vehicle in a car pile-up crash.
While travelling from Wallingford to Didcot, the driver of a silver Honda Accord overtook two vehicles on the A4130 junction with Sires Hill in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell at around 8.45pm on December 9.
Thames Valley Police said the motorist then lost control of the vehicle, crossing the other side of the road and crashing into a verge.
A second vehicle, a blue BMW 3 Series estate overtook the two vehicles and collided with a white Suzuki driving in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Honda sustained serious injuries which required hospital treatment where he remains at this time.
A 29-year-old man from Abingdon has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after a road accident, failing to report road accident, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
He has since been released under investigation.
Investigating officer PC Freya Renton, of the Joint Operations Road Policing Unit, based at Abingdon, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision or who may have dash-cam footage that captured it to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
