Grandmother and mother of three Janne Goble, 63, was found dead at an address in Ridgeway Road in Headington on November 22.
Thames Valley Police launched an investigation into her death and arrested a 65-year-old man on suspicion of murder last Saturday (December 9).

The Oxford man, who was seized by police in Ridgeway Road, was also arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing death or serious injury to a vulnerable adult.
The suspect has been released on bail until February 29.
A police spokesman said there had been no update since the Oxford Mail broke the story last Monday.
Tributes have poured in following Ms Goble’s death with £175 donated to her memorial fund.
