A PLEA and trial preparation date has been set for an Oxford man accused of rape.
Khaliz Ali Alshimery, of Grenoble Road, has been charged with one count of rape of a woman over 16, one count of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration on November 21.
The charges came after an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 19) in the churchyard of St Clement's Church just off Marston Road.

It is alleged a woman, aged, 20, was approached by a man between 3pm and 3.30pm and raped.
Police are appealing for potential witnesses to come forward.
The 46-year-old’s case has now been sent to Oxford Crown Court for a plea and trial prep on Friday, December 22.
