A PRISONER tried to escape from police custody while being taken into court for his hearing.
Ryan Lynch was being taken to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on December 7 when he fled police and made a run for it.
However, the 37-year-old was quickly found and caught and taken into the lower courts the following day.

Lynch, of Osterely Road, Swindon, has since been charged with the criminal damage of a police van under £5,000 and escaping from lawful custody.
It is believed his original offences were burglary and bike theft.
His case will be now be sent to Oxford Crown Court for a trial.
He is next due to appear in court on January 4, 2024.
Lynch will remain in custody.
