Two Oxford takeaways have been handed five-out-of-five food hygiene ratings following their most recent inspections by the Food Standards Agency, working with Oxford City Council.
The first, Kebab King at Unit E, Threeways House in George Street, scored the maximum number following an assessment conducted last Friday (December 8).

The takeaway was rated ‘very good’ for hygienic food handling and ‘good’ for cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety.
The second, Upper Crust, at Platform 1 of Oxford Railway Station, was also handed the maximum score of five following an assessment on December 8. It was rated ‘very good’ in all three assessment categories.
Of Oxford's 86 takeaway establishments with ratings, 70 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
