More than 100 people turned out for a Christmas themed fun run at Christchurch meadows in Oxford this week.
This year marks the 44th anniversary of the run, organised by Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council, which happened yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, December 13.
The event saw over 170 participants from council employees, local running groups and university departments take part. Several participants dressed up in Santa Claus costumes or donned festive outfits in fancy dress.
Julian Richardson, who attended the event said: “There were a lot of extremely good fancy dress outfits. It was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.”
He also wished to extend a “special thank you”’ to John Exley, who organises the event.
