ANTHONY DAVIS, 44, of Henry Taunt Close, Headington, pleaded guilty to 43 counts of theft between March 5 and September 23 this year. The thefts took place in Oxford at stores such as Waitrose, Co-Op, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, and Tesco. He was handed a nine-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and pay £50 in compensation.
KYLE HOLLWAY, 37, of Ludlow, Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to one count of racially/religiously aggravated harassment/alarm/distress by words/writing on March 19 this year in Oxford. He was fined £80. There were also court costs of £40.
DANIEL HUGHES, 34, of Larners Way, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis on June 8 at Abingdon Police Station after being suspected of having committed a driving offence as well as driving without third-party insurance. He was handed an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He will also need to provide samples for testing to Turning Point for 12 months, complete 19 days of rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work. There were court costs of £85.
EMMA WEBB, 35, of Abbott Road, Didcot, pleaded guilty to one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour causing another person to believe unlawful violence would be used against them in Druids Walk, Didcot on October 28 this year as well as one count of racially/religiously aggravated harassment/alarm/distress by words/writing and one count of assaulting a police constable. She was handed a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. She will also need to complete 12 months of alcohol treatment, 20 days of rehabilitation activity, and pay £75 in compensation.
ELTON DUMANI, 40, of High Cross Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of a locking knife on November 6 this year in Cowley Road, Oxford. He was handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He will also need to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the knife. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £154.
BARRY BYLES, 40, of Lenthall Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Oxford on November 7 this year with 53 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months, reduced by 36 weeks for a driving course. He was fined £120. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.
MATTHEW WINCHESTER, 37, of Gardenia Way, Carterton, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place. On August 3 this year, he was found with a curved sword with a blade length of 68cm. He was given an absolute discharge and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the weapon. There were court costs of £85.
MARWAN EL FAGAHIH, 31, of Oxford Road, Farmoor, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Magdalen Road, Oxford on November 9 this year with 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks for a driving course, and fined £300. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £120.
