An Oxford teenager’s disappearance is “out of character”, police said as concerns grow for the girl’s whereabouts.
Tuaha, 16, from Headington, was last seen yesterday (December 6) and has not been heard from since just after 9pm last night.
Her last contact was a message sent to her family from her phone, which is no longer connected to the network.
At that point, she was believed to be in London and had sent photographs of herself at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park earlier in the day.
Thames Valley Police believe Tuaha may have caught a bus or coach, but the force does not know whether she travelled with anybody else.
Tuaha is a mixed race female, very slim, around 5ft 4in, with shoulder length dark hair. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, black trousers and black shoes.
Acting Inspector Sara Sayers said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Tuaha’s welfare, as her disappearance is out of character and she has not been seen since yesterday.
“I am appealing to anybody who knows of her whereabouts to please report this to us via our dedicated missing persons’ portal, quoting reference 43230548074.
“If you see her, I would urge you to call 999 immediately.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Tuaha. You are not in any trouble whatsoever, but your family and we are very concerned for you.
“Please get in touch with us or your family and tell us where you.”
