A man in his 40s has died after falling from a height at a construction site just off the A40.
Ambulance and police services were called to the scene of the incident near Wolvercote in Oxford at 10.15am yesterday, Monday, December 4.
The man died despite the "best efforts of medical professionals" to save him.

Thames Valley Police are investigating circumstances surrounding the incident along with colleagues from the Health & Safety Executive.
Detective Inspector Krista Thompson of Oxford CID said: “This is a tragic incident which has resulted in the death of a man aged in his forties.
“His next of kin have been made aware and our thoughts go out to them at this extremely difficult time.
“We are in the very early stages of this investigation, which we are conducting jointly with the Health & Safety Executive.”
An HSE spokesman added: “We are aware of an incident and currently making enquiries on site alongside Thames Valley Police.”
Police are currently not able to provide any further detail about the incident.
