A cyclist in her 70s has suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a stationary van in Headington.
The crash happened as the woman was riding a white electricity-assisted bicycle in Morrell Avenue at around 5.50pm, yesterday, Sunday, December 3.
Thames Valley Police said she collided with a stationary and unattended van.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she remains in a critical condition.
Investigating officer PC Chris Guttridge, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I would also be keen to hear from anybody who has CCTV or dash-cam from the area at the time of the collision to please check this and contact us.

“The woman’s next of kin are have been made aware.”
