Driving instructors and learners raised over £1,000 for Children in Need in memory of a super-fundraiser who sadly died earlier this year.
The Big Learner Relay was started by Lou Walsh 10 years ago and involves hundreds of learner drivers on a series of driving lessons relaying a Pudsey Bear top box around the UK.
This year was set to be the 10th and final Big Learner Relay, however, Lou, from Milford near Winchester, tragically died of a brain haemorrhage in August, at the age of 50.
The relay was cancelled, but supporters agreed they should still try to raise as much money as they could.
In Witney John Hutchins decided to organise a small convoy of spotty cars which drove from the Eynsham Park Estate with the help and permission of the owners, in particular Emma Mason, through Witney before finishing at Millets Farm Centre in Frilford.
Camber Driving School with the help of Bev Warner and Sally Johnson from Camber Driving School and Pamela's Driving school raised £1,100.
The cars were driven by Amy Bustin-Kelly and Freya Brough.
Collectively the Big Learner Relay raised £40,070 and over the last 10 years has raised over £500,000.
Mr Hutchins said: "The money donated was incredible in our area and came from our pupils and the families of instructors involved.
"This was the final year of the Big Learner Relay, and it is so sad that Lou was not there to see it.
"She will be sadly missed by all of us."
