A new fish and chip shop is helping people out by offering pensioners fish and chips for £5.
The offer from Noir Grill which has just opened in Fettiplace in Witney, was introduced in response to the cost of living crisis.
Owner Oliver Black is also planning another promotion - "possibly a free battered sausage" - to bring in more customers next week.

However, there’s usually a queue out of the door.
Mr Black said: “We are the cheapest around. We did a price comparison.
“We sold out on Friday night and then on Saturday there were queues all night.”
Mr Black took over the empty unit, which was previously a production kitchen, from his dad.
He owns garage and car dealership H Autos in Standlake but has been working in the family fish and chip shop in Wood Farm, Oxford, since he was 18.
His family also ran the Happy Cod shop in Witney.
He has been joined in the business by his friend Joe Amos, former chef from The Turnpike in Yarnton, and the Witney shop is run by Hannah Flint.
Apart from the classic fish, chips and mushy or garden peas, the menu also includes pizza, burgers, southern fried chicken, kebabs and salt and pepper squid.
There’s also sweets and milkshakes with some vegan and gluten free options coming soon.
Mr Black said: “Pizzas and pies are really popular but because we have a full-time chef we even have plans to do things like Sunday roasts."
The shop has seen high praise from customers including Witney district and county councillor Andrew Coles.
He said: "I am absolutely delighted to see a fish and chip shop return to the Smiths estate and, judging by the queues the other night, I'm not the only one.
"Across the country, fish and chip shop businesses have really struggled in recent years with food prices escalating and rocketing increases in the cost of cooking oil and the energy that powers the fryers, sadly many have closed as a result.
"It's absolutely great that Witney is, once again, bucking the national trend not only with this great new chippy on Smiths estate but with excellent chippies on Burwell, Thorney Leys and Madley Park too."
Noir Grill has a striking 'film noir' black logo.
“We’ve done a really good refit and got an artist in," said Mr Black.
"We've got a grand opening planned soon. But it’s going really well – really, really well if I’m honest."
