Oxfordshire seamer Keith Arnold made a rare appearance for Banbury Twenty 2nd in their promotion clash with Twyford, but despite his 5-34, Twenty could not force the win in Division 4.
Another veteran, spinner Steve Partington, took 3-13 as leaders Twyford were bowled out for 119.
Mike Wedderburn's 41 not out was not quite enough as the visitors closed on 104-6.

Nigel Hume's 55 helped take Challow & Childrey 2nd to 72 without loss and provide the platform for a big total against Kimble.
But Sam Agace (4-62) and Ali Russel (3-13) sparked a spectacular collapse that ended with Challow 109 all out.
Tony Skeggs then hit 37 as Kimble reached 111-4 in 30 overs.
