Oxford Mail Camera Club photographers have been taking photos of small things for this week’s theme.
Lots of striking shots of insects were included in our round-up.
On almost every occasion our photo of the week selection is theme-related but we have to make an exception this time after seeing Simon Gannon’s stunning shot of the city at sunrise, taken from Oxford University’s Clarendon Building.

It’s a beautiful photo of the dawn and the dreaming spires all lit up and lots of camera club members liked it on the club’s Facebook page.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A number of pictures are selected to feature in the paper and online, and one photo is chosen as photo of the week.
