Thousands of account holders with major high street bank HSBC have reported issues with the app and online banking.
Downdetector, at its peak, recorded more than 4000 reports of issues with HSBC on Friday (November 24) morning.
Around 64 per cent of these reported problems were about the app, while 21 per cent were about online banking.
At the time of writing, there were still more than 2500 reported issues on Downdetector about HSBC.

We're investigating this as a matter of urgency and will share an update as soon as possible.
One HSBC account holder said: "@hsbc app not working! Just buffering when I try and login -@HSBC_UK fix asap please!"
Another person said: "@HSBC @HSBC_UK I’ve tried to log in to my mobile banking app and it’s not working, what’s going on?!!!"
While a third person added: "@HSBC Do you know when your mobile banking service will be working? It is saying service unavailable at the moment."
HSBC investigating the issue "as a matter of urgency"
HSBC took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday morning to alert account holders they were aware of the problem and working to fix it.
The major high street bank, posting on X, said: "We understand some customers are having trouble accessing banking services as usual right now.
"We're investigating this as a matter of urgency and will share an update as soon as possible."
