Sainsbury’s Witney store will reopen tomorrow morning with a new look after a complete refurbishment.
The supermarket has undergone a major upgrade programme and will offer hundreds of new food products, including a speciality grab-and-go meal range, Kitchen Deli and "others that will be revealed when the store reopens", said Sainsbury's.
There will be a brand-new Starbucks, as well as a refreshed Sushi Gourmet counter serving hot and cold Japanese-inspired dishes.
The layout of the store and new technology throughout is intended to make it more attractive to customers and easier to navigate.
The store closed on November 11 for final touches although click and collect and online grocery deliveries were still available.
Sainsbury’s also offered to cover the cost of delivery for one online order during the closure using vouchers that could be collected from the store.
It will will reopen tomorrow Friday November 24 at 9am with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Regional stores director Keyur Patel said: “We’re really excited to be ramping up our work to transform Sainsbury’s Witney, which will deliver a completely refreshed store for our customers in time for Christmas.
"I’m thoroughly looking forward to hearing what our customers in Witney think of the changes when the store reopens on Black Friday.”
