A Didcot community health and wellbeing event took place for the first time on Saturday (November 18).
Run throughout the morning and early afternoon at the civic hall, those in attendance were able to network with community groups, sports clubs and charities catering for all ages.
They were also able to participate in first aid, CPR and blood pressure monitoring training as well as observe demonstrations from Zumba, Pilates and yoga groups.
The event was organised by bosses from Oak Tree Health Centre’s, Didcot Health Centre’s and Woodlands Medical Centre’s patient participation groups.

Chairwoman Andrea Warren said: “This event was designed to bring everyone in the community together. It’s a way of finding out everything that’s going on and all the different groups people can join and be part of.
“Feedback has been really positive. We definitely have this in mind to become an annual event.
"In the meantime, we’d like to run some health-related focus events with specialists.”
