An Oxford man has been charged with rape following an incident in the early hours on Sunday morning (November 19).
Thames Valley Police officers investigating have charged Khaliz Ali Alshimery, 46, of Grenoble Road, with one count of rape of a woman over 16, one count of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration this morning.
Alshimery is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
The incident took place between 3am and 3.30am in the churchyard of St Clement's Church just off Marston Road.
