Police have been out in force during the night, dealing with multiple offenders for drink driving and vehicle-related crimes.
Throughout the evening yesterday (Friday, November 17), police dealt with four drivers: three for driving without insurance and another who was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Officers with the Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce seized vehicles in Wantage, Lambourn and Swindon utilising their ANPR equipped vehicles when patrolling rural roads.
The first vehicle seized was a Ford Fiesta in Grove after police learned the driver was disqualified and uninsured. They were interviewed at the roadside and reported to court.
Officers were working with Wiltshire Rural Crime team throughout the night to tackle crime in rural communities.
