An Oxford police officer has won an award at the National Police Bravery Awards in London.
Dog handler Pc Paul Davies, who is based at Cowley, took the South East regional prize at the ceremony last night.
Pc Davies was recognised for his bravery in arresting two armed burglars at the Templars Square shopping centre, in Cowley, despite being repeatedly stabbed with a screwdriver.
