Activities included measuring solutions and engineering stable paper towers whilst discussions took place together on what their schools could do to help protect the environment.
The morning was part of the school's JEMS initiative, which stands for Juniors in Engineering Maths and Science.
JEMS lead Maria Whittington said: "Science is for everyone, of all ages.
We love science here at Oxford High School, and it's been wonderful to see so many pupils learning new things together".
