A 1980s Raleigh Richmond bike with “huge sentimental value” to its owner was stolen from outside a church in Abingdon.
Police have appealed for information on the vintage cycle after it was taken from outside St Helens Church on Wednesday, October 25, at around 1.30pm.
PCSO Ali Blood is looking to return the bike to its owner, who bought it 40 years ago.
The force said: “Ali has been carrying out a number of enquiries into cycle thefts in Abingdon and has been working closely with the Vale of White Horse District Council CCTV operators and local shops to review footage in the hope of identifying suspects.
“A number of images have been found and enquires are continuing.
“Please do report any suspicious activity that you see or if your bicycle has been stolen in recent weeks”.
