Oxford has been given low odds to see snowfall before the end of the month as some weather maps predict an incoming Arctic Plume.
The city is 8/11 to experience a white November on a betting website, putting it amongst the likeliest places in the United Kingdom to see snow.

The Met Office said the UK can expect more rain and wind for a few more weeks.
Neil Roarty of bettingsites.co.uk, which has given the odds, said: “Following an uncharacteristically warm October, some more seasonal frosty temperatures are certainly beginning to hit the UK, with reports of an incoming Iberian Plume bringing a significant possibility of snow to Oxford in November.
“Much like the readings on our thermometers, the odds for snowfall across the nation this month have plummeted, with Oxford trading at just 1/6 for a white November."
