A woman suffered serious injuries requiring hospitalisation after a crash on the A40 between Eynsham and Witney.
The incident happened after a white Volvo lorry and a grey Mazda car were involved in a crash at the junction for Barnard Gate at around 10.30am, yesterday, Tuesday, November 7.
The Mazda driver, a woman in her 40s, suffered serious injuries. She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she remains in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to the crash.
Investigating officer PC Brian Perry, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, whereby a woman has sustained serious injuries, to please come forward.
“Anyone with dash-cam footage that might assist our investigation should also please get in touch. You can contact us by calling 101 or by making a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230500556.
“The A40 was closed for several hours while the incident was dealt with, thanks to those affected for your patience and cooperation.”
